Sally Kindness

Sally started painting on silk in the Chinese style of ‘fine brush’ in Hong Kong where she exhibited and sold her work.
After twenty-three years living and painting in Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Indonesia, Sally settled in the Lake District with her husband and now takes inspiration from the surrounding hills and valleys and the flowers in her beautiful Kentmere garden.
Watercolour has always been her favourite medium and she continues to develop her style and gain pleasure from this rewarding and inspiring art form. Sally is a member of the Kendal Art Society and the Ambleside and District Art Society.
She has exhibited at The Lakes Artists and in the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours at the Mall Galleries in London alongside the future King.
