I’m Patsy Derry, an artist based in the beautiful landscape of the English Lake District and the Furness Peninsula. 

Having taught Art for over 20 years, I am now an active member of Ambleside and District Art Society, exhibiting and selling in several exhibitions in Cumbria throughout the year. Original paintings and prints can also be purchased via my website. I deliver art workshops to local art groups, as teaching is still something I love to do. 

I enjoy exploring the light on different landscapes, aiming to capture beauty and drama with strong tonal values and bold colour. I still like experimenting with a diversity of mediums to keep my ideas fresh.
