Living in the heart of the Lake District, the inspiration is all around us. The special thrill is produced by the ever changing light. I love experimenting with different media, acrylics, inks, pastels and oils. Acrylics are very versatile and can be used in many different ways. Applied thinly to simulate watercolours or layered using glazes, and thickly to be used like oils. They are ideal for incorporating texture perhaps using collage.
